Canberra Airport (CBR) is 9km (5.5 miles) east of the city. Transport into the city is available by bus taxi or rental car (travel time - 15 minutes). Canberra is a domestic airport. International passengers wishing to go to Canberra should fly to Sydney and connect with a domestic flight.

Sydney Airport (SYD) (Kingsford Smith) is 8km (5 miles) south of the city (travel time - 15 minutes). Coaches meet all incoming international and domestic flights. The international terminal is separate to the domestic terminal. There are also buses and taxis.

Melbourne Airport (MEL) (Tullamarine) (Web site:Melair.com.au) is 21km (13 miles) northwest of the city (travel time - 30 minutes). Skybus Coach or taxis are available to the city centre. Airport facilities include restaurants bars banks post office car park and duty-free shop.

Perth Airport (PER) is 10km (6 miles) northeast of the city (travel time - 25 minutes). There are separate international and domestic terminals. Airport buses run 0500-2100 and meet international and domestic flights. Taxis are available. Airport facilities include banks duty-free shop 24-hour restaurant bar car park garage and gift shop (access from public area 0500-2400; access from transit/departure lounge 2400-0500).

Brisbane Airport (BNE) is 13km (8 miles) northeast of the city (travel time - 35 minutes). Coach services are available to the city Gold Coast Sunshine Coast and major hotels.
