Skiing - Victoria Victoria has fabulous skiing opportunities and is an absolute must for those who are into sun, snow and excellent ski facilities. Although there are also a few spots, such as Mt Stirling and Mt Bogong, that are worth your visit, they don’t offer accommodation facilities.
But no worries, the Alpine National Park houses some good ski resorts within the park’s boundaries or just nearby. Besides excellent cross-country ski trails, you’ll find good accommodation facilities, restaurants and pubs (to drink away the muscle pain).
Falls Greek, consisting of Village Bowl and Sun Valley, is the largest ski-resort of Victoria. Mt Buffalo offers good opportunities to learn to ski or revive your skills again.
Another interesting skiing area is the Snowy Mountains area in NSW.

Mt Buller Mt Buller is 200 kms away from Melbourne and a paradise for ski lovers. It has over 25 lifts and when you don’t feel like skiing, try the local cinema or play a game of indoor tennis.
