Beaches - Victoria Victoria has some fine beaches where you can, besides lying in the sun and enjoying a swim, surf on the impressive waves that clasp onto shore. Port Campbell, a popular resort, offers besides some interesting sights a good beach.
Phillip Island’s south coast claims to have some of the best beaches in the country. Besides waves, you can also spot penguins, occasionally white sharks (!) and marvellous scenery.
When you can’t decide yet, just go along the Great Ocean Road and stop at places such as Torquay and its famous Bells Beach.
