Getting There - Melbourne - Victoria All overseas flights, QANTAS flights, Virgin blue flights, and Jetstar flights (except jetstar flights from Sydney & Brisbane) go to Melbourne-Tullamarine airport. Jetstar flights from Sydney and Brisbane land in Avalon airport. Be wary about taking a flight into Avalon, it's nowhere near the city and this will cost you time and money!!!!!
To get to/from Tullamarine airport, you can either drive, Catch a Taxi, or the most practicable and affordable way is the Airport Bus (AU$15 one way). There are no train or tram services to the airport.
The city centre is about 20 mins drive, Western suburbs about 30 mins, northern suburbs, 30 mins, And south-eastern suburbs up to an hour away.
