Nightlife - Sydney - New South Wales Sydney is known for its nightlife scene. Although there are already innumerable cafes, bars and clubs, businesses are still booming. Especially in the last few years, the gay and lesbian club circuit has taken over an increasing segment of the clubbing scene, which resulted in some of the best-known (non-exclusive) clubs.
It might be an idea to check the local newspaper in order to find out what’s going on during your stay in Sydney. Some bars feature live music or stand-up comedians. Otherwise, there is always a play, opera or a film to be seen. Check it out!
If you don’t know where to go at the beginning and you just want to go to a few bars or lounges then go to Darling Harbour. It is always something going on there.
Sublime (subbies) A sublime sound system guarantees that house and dance music really reach your stomach. This club in Pitt St is far less exclusive than most clubs on Oxford Street
