Western Australia -  Australia   Western Australia National Parks

Western Australia
Western Australia covers one third of Australia and offers, assisted by the apparent everlasting sun-beams, a multilateral view of everything Australia has to offer. Perth is the state capital and is a good place from which to start your explorations of the rest of the area.

Armadale, in the suburbs of Perth, offers an interesting insight into the way things were, let’s say, a hundred years ago.

Besides this pioneer village, you can also visit the Elizabethan village dedicated to the life of Shakespeare.

WA is also one of the areas with the best beaches and, not in the least, because of its sunny climate, this is a perfect area to practise your watersports skills. When you want to experience the beach without an abundance of tanned travellers (and when you want to lay your eyes on one of the authentic inhabitants, the marsupial), set off for the car-free Rottnest Island.

Especially in the northern part of WA, you’ll get the chance to see and explore the great outdoors at its best.

Rock formations, jungles, foaming waterfalls and wildflowers, you name it and there is probably a guide that will make your wildest dreams come true.
